Our Story

It was 2006 when our founder Kristine Reyes-Lopez (Krie) visited Delancey Street Foundation in San Francisco, and discovered the unique business model of how to empower disadvantaged youth through business. Adapting that model here in the Philippines, Krie later put up Messy Bessy Cleaners Inc. a then simple line of environmentally safe products, with the on-set initiative to help sexually abused girls.

Years passed and with the growth of Messy Bessy, the H.O.U.S.E. Foundation was put up to expand the program to help and lift more impoverished individuals out of poverty until this day and years to come.

In 2017, and up to this day, we are a proud member of the United Nations Development Programme and Business Call-to-Action (BCtA) for our model in poverty alleviation among at-risk individuals in the Philippines.

Messy Bessy now has over 20 products, over 10 kiosks in key areas around Metro Manila, over 40 retail partners, and a growing online platform. The H.O.U.S.E Foundation has since helped over 400 at-risk young individuals lift themselves from the poverty line and equipped them with the tools for a bright future ahead.

We offer an array of products such as personal care, home care, baby care, and an industrial cleaning line. We also offer corporate gifting opportunities and have a growth partnership program. Message us to learn more!
